The association « Châteaux de la Loire, Vallée des Rois » (“Châteaux of the Loire, Valley of the Kings”), created in 2008, groups together around 80 sites open to the public in the Loire Valley, from Gien to Nantes.
The primary objective of the association is to gather the cultural tourist offer proposed to the public in the Centre Val de Loire and Pays de la Loire regions, thanks to the exceptional number of monuments and gardens situated in the Loire Valley, a UNESCO World Heritage Sites since 2000.
Royal or family castles, outstanding gardens or atypical churches, all this sites, classified and listed as Historic Monuments or certified “Outstanding Gardens”, welcome the public much of the year and offer multiple visits, events and expositions… Whether you come with family or friends, everyone will enjoy the discovery of these “jewels” of the Loire Valley, a unique territory along the Loire River.
