Medieval monastic-inspired gardens composed of green cloisters, kitchen gardens and a rose garden.
The enclosed gardens of Orsan have been restored, with trained plants based on illustrations made it possible to recreate a medieval monastic garden.
This abbey, founded in 1107, has a set of contemporary gardens inspired by the Middle Ages. Woven branches and trellises form the cloister of greenery, with raised flowerbeds, gazebos and arbours.
The owner and his team celebrate the art of gardening here through kitchen gardens, orchards, clos de simples, fruit tree labyrinth and rose garden.
Due to the educational activities put on from Easter to All Saints’ Day, the priory has become a place of pilgrimage for blessed gardeners.
