European Heritage Days in the gardens of Château de Valmer. This year’s theme is “Roads, Networks and Connections”.
The park and gardens of Château de Valmer are set in a remarkable site, on a hillside overlooking the Brenne valley. 5 ha of gardens have been awarded the “Jardin Remarquable” label, and the estate boasts vineyards in the Vouvray and Touraine rosé appellations. Take a step back in time to the 16th century as you discover the history of the château and its troglodytic chapel, filled with anecdotes and surprises. From the highest terrace, you can admire the view over the estate and vineyards, then stroll through the boxwood paths of the kitchen garden, tasting edible flowers. Play “Le vieux qui aimait les fautes d’orthographes” by Philippe OUZOUNIAN, Saturday and Sunday at 5pm. Full program on our website.
